YUKINOSHITA (literally means UNDER THE SNOW) is a cafe in Kyoto, Japan. They reformed a traditional Japanese house (MACHIYA) into a cafe.
They are very particular about the ingredients of their dishes. All of their ingredients are made by specific farmers in Japan.
Pancake and French toast are their signature menus. And the shaved ice is made from real fruit juice.
YUKINOSHITA has their branch cafes in Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Kobe, Okayama, Tokushima, but the Kyoto cafe is their original and probably is the best.
